Renewal of the Quebec Acceptance Certificate with MIFI when the program is extended or the CAQ is about to expire.
When the program of study is extended or the CAQ expires, an extension application generally has to be submitted to MIFI before the expiry date, so that Quebec requirements continue to be met.
A valid CAQ is often a precondition for maintaining or extending a study permit with IRCC for studies in Quebec.
