This policy applies to the NK immigration website, evaluation forms, contact requests and communications related to Canadian immigration support (study, work, permanent residence, family sponsorship, visiting and related procedures).

It is intended to align with Canadian principles, including the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and, where applicable, Quebec’s Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Law 25).

When you use the evaluation form or contact us, we may collect: full name, email address, phone number, country of residence, current immigration status, immigration objective, education level, work experience, French and English proficiency, free-form comments, and any résumé or document you choose to upload.

We also collect ordinary technical browsing data (IP address, device type, pages viewed, timestamps) through hosting and server logs, as needed to operate and secure the site.

We do not request a social insurance number, sensitive banking details or official identity documents through the public evaluation form. If those items are required for a mandate, they are requested under a separate contractual process.

Your information is used to: assess your immigration profile on a preliminary basis; follow up with a suitable procedure orientation; prepare and manage an eventual consulting mandate; answer your requests; meet our professional obligations to the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (CICC / RCIC); and improve the quality and security of our services.

We do not sell contact lists to third parties, and we do not use your data for unrelated behavioural advertising.

We process your information based on your consent (forms and uploads), steps prior to or under a contract (evaluation and mandate), our legal and regulatory duties as an RCIC consultant, and our legitimate interests in security, fraud prevention and site improvement, while respecting your rights.

Your information may be processed by technical providers needed to run the site and forms (hosting, secure submission handling, storage). Those providers act on our instructions under appropriate confidentiality measures.

Under an immigration mandate, certain information may be shared with competent authorities (including IRCC and, where applicable, MIFI) or with partners you expressly authorize, only as required for your file.

We do not sell your personal information.

Evaluation requests that do not become a mandate are kept only as long as needed for follow-up (generally up to 24 months), unless a legal obligation or legitimate interest requires otherwise.

Client files are retained according to professional requirements applicable to RCIC consultants and for as long as needed to protect rights or meet legal duties, then securely destroyed or anonymized.

We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, loss, alteration or disclosure (access control, secure transmission where available, limited authorized staff).

No system is perfectly secure. Please avoid sending highly sensitive documents through insecure channels and use the channels we designate under a mandate.

Because of our Montreal and Marrakech presence and the use of cloud providers, your information may be processed or stored outside your country of residence, including in Canada or elsewhere. Where that occurs, we seek appropriate safeguards consistent with applicable requirements.

Subject to legal exceptions, you may request access to, correction of, or updates to your information and, in some cases, withdrawal or restriction of use.

To exercise these rights, use the Contact page or call our offices. We will respond within the reasonable timelines required by applicable law. You may also complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or, in Quebec, the Commission d’accès à l’information.

Our site uses technical cookies required for operation (session, language preferences) and Google Analytics for aggregated traffic measurement, without behavioural advertising. You can configure your browser to refuse some cookies; parts of the site may then work with reduced functionality.

Our services are primarily intended for adults. Where a file involves a minor, information is collected from a parent or legal guardian within an appropriate engagement.
