PSTQ: Quebec Skilled Worker Selection Program
Regulated consultant, RCIC R520189
The Quebec Skilled Worker Selection Program (PSTQ) is Quebec's permanent selection program for workers, organized in streams, with a view to obtaining a CSQ.
Processing time
Times vary by PSTQ stream and MIFI volume, then federal permanent residence processing (often around 6 months after selection).
Estimate only, based on times typically observed with IRCC or MIFI. Times vary by visa office, application volume and file complexity. They are not a guarantee.
The Quebec Skilled Worker Selection Program (PSTQ) is Quebec's main permanent selection program for economic immigration. It has several streams, each with its own conditions (skills, experience, French, and a job offer where required).
An expression of interest and, where applicable, an invitation to apply for selection often precede filing. A CSQ, if issued, then opens the way to a permanent residence application to IRCC.
We identify the applicable stream, assess the profile against criteria published by MIFI and prepare the selection application, then the federal file.
